The speakers inside a flat television fire downwards or backwards, which is why dialogue goes thin the moment anything else is happening on screen. The SF1A puts two proper speakers in front of you at 30 W and lets them face the room. Voices come forward, background music sits behind them, and the evening news or a film stops being something you turn up and then turn down again. It does all of it from a 50.8 cm bar drawing 10 W while it runs — no subwoofer to find floor space for in a compact flat, no extra box, no clutter.
Music-synced mood lighting — the feature you notice from across the room
Multicolour LEDs glow out of the back of the bar and change colour in time with what is playing. Washed up the wall behind the television, they turn a plain TV unit into the warm corner of the room — the sort of thing that earns its keep on a Saturday evening with people over, during a film with the lights off, or behind a long playlist. It is the one thing on this soundbar you can see as well as hear, and it is why the SF1A gets bought for bedrooms and drawing rooms where a plain black bar would just disappear.
Built for a Delhi bedroom, a study, or a compact drawing room
At 50.8 cm wide, 8 cm deep and 6.6 cm tall, the SF1A slots under a smaller television, along a console, or onto the wall — it does not overhang a narrow TV unit and it does not creep into the bottom of the picture. The wall bracket is in the box, so if the table space in a 2 BHK is already spoken for by the set-top box and the router, the bar goes on the wall instead. At 1.4 kg it is light enough to move to another room whenever the household rearranges itself.

The optical cable and the wall bracket both come in the box, so the SF1A is connected and mounted the same evening it arrives — nothing extra to buy.
Pair a phone once and the bar becomes the music system for the room — a playlist while you cook, a podcast in the study, something on in the background while the television stays off.
One optical cable carries the television's audio across cleanly, and the USB port plays audio straight off a pen drive — two wired routes in, so the bar is useful with or without a phone in the room.
Ten watts in use and a watt or less when switched off. Left on through a long evening of television it adds almost nothing to a Delhi electricity bill already carrying the AC through summer.
Two LG sound effects, one for each of the things this bar mostly does: music through Bluetooth, and films and serials through the optical input. One button on the remote moves between them.
