Between two and five on a June afternoon, the Delhi grid sags. Your cooling need is not the same at 6 AM in April as it is at 2 PM in June, and this AC does not pretend otherwise. The inverter compressor can be set to run at 40% of rated capacity — roughly 0.6 ton — for a mild morning or a single sleeper at night; at 60% and 80% for the in-between days that make up most of the Delhi season; at 100% for the full 1.5 ton; and at 110% Turbo Cool, which pushes past the rated capacity to pull a hot west-facing room down fast on a 45°C afternoon. That top step is the one people notice: on the worst days a 1.5 ton set to 24°C should actually reach 24°C, and the headroom is what gets it there. Auto mode watches the room and picks the step itself, and Personalised Cooling learns the pattern your household actually runs — the temperature you settle on and the hours you use it — so the machine gets better at choosing over the season.
Golden Fin and Hi-Grooved Copper — an outdoor unit built for NCR air
The outdoor unit lives in Delhi NCR's air all year: construction dust in the dry months, vehicle exhaust every day, monsoon damp through July and August, and the thick October–November smog. That mixture attacks bare aluminium fins, and a corroded fin transfers heat poorly, which shows up on your bill long before it shows up as a breakdown. Golden Fin is an anti-corrosion coating over the condenser fins — the amber colour it gives them is where the name comes from — and it keeps the corrosive elements off the metal so the outdoor unit keeps exchanging heat properly in its eighth summer. Inside the circuit, Hi-Grooved Copper tubing carries fine helical grooves machined into the inner wall, increasing the surface area between the refrigerant and the copper and lifting the efficiency of both the evaporator and the condenser. Together with R32 refrigerant — zero ozone depletion and a high heat-transfer coefficient — that is what produces the ISEER of 4.47.

Low Gas Detection is the quietly valuable one — the AC tells you the refrigerant charge has fallen while it is still cooling, so a service call is booked early rather than in the middle of a heatwave.
Lloyd publishes the actual annual consumption figure alongside the star rating, so the running cost is a number you can put into your own maths rather than a guess. The inverter holds part load for most of the season, which is where an ISEER of 4.47 turns into a real bill.
About the level of a quiet library and well below normal conversation. With Mute switched on and Sleep Mode running overnight, the unit disappears into the background of a bedroom — which is the whole test of a bedroom AC.
The AC watches its own refrigerant charge and flags a drop early, before the compressor is working hard on a thin charge. The filter alert tracks dust loading and tells you when to wash it — the single maintenance job that most affects cooling through an NCR summer.
