This is the number that changes how dinner gets made in a Delhi flat. Sync Finish and Match Cook — Ninja's Dual Zone control, explained
Two zones are only useful if the machine does the timing arithmetic for you, and this one does. Sync Finish holds back the faster drawer automatically: set the roast for 35 minutes and the chips for 20, press Sync, and zone two simply starts 15 minutes later so both complete together. Match Cook is the opposite trick — one button copies zone one's settings straight across to zone two, which is what you want for a party batch of pakodas or 1.4 kg of fries. And when you want them fully separate, they stay separate: different function, different heat, different clock in each drawer. The whole thing is driven from a digital touchscreen, so a mode change is a tap rather than a dial hunt.
Max Crisp — the Delhi freezer-shelf mode
Most Delhi NCR homes keep the freezer stocked with frozen samosas, spring rolls, nuggets and fries for the evening someone drops in unannounced. Max Crisp is the setting built for exactly that: it runs the drawer at high heat and full airflow so frozen food goes from the freezer to crisp without a defrost step and without the oven's 15-minute preheat. Compared with a conventional oven the AF400 is up to 75% faster and uses up to 65% less energy, and because the heat stays inside a compact 4.75-litre drawer rather than a big oven cavity, the kitchen stays noticeably cooler than it would with the oven running — which matters a great deal in a May afternoon at 45°C.
