The Rapid Cooking System — steam and air fry working together
Most multicookers make you pick one method at a time. The Ninja Speedi runs steam and air frying in the same chamber, in the same cycle. Steam cooks the base and the vegetables through quickly and keeps them moist; the air fryer element crisps the top layer at the same time. That is why a whole meal lands in one window instead of three sequential stages — and why you get a genuinely crisp finish, not a reheated-in-a-steamer texture. Flip the lid between the two modes and the same appliance becomes a dedicated Air Fry / Hob unit for chips, tikka, kebabs and roasts.

The recipe guide is the part people underestimate — it is written around the Speedi Meals method, so you get working timings for base-plus-protein combinations from day one instead of guessing.
Air frying uses little or no oil — tested against hand-cut deep-fried chips, it delivers up to 75% less fat. Samosas, pakoras, tikki and chips still come out crisp, without a kadhai of oil to heat, strain and store.
A genuine temperature range across the functions, set from a touch panel rather than a vague dial — so a slow-cooked stew and a 200°C roast are both exact, repeatable settings you can come back to.
The pot and tray lift out, wipe clean because of the non-stick coating, and go into the dishwasher when you would rather not. After a one-pot meal, that is the whole clean-up.
