The reason most air fryers disappoint an Indian family is size, not technology. Rapid Air Technology with the Starfish design — 360° crisping, no flipping
Air frying lives or dies on how evenly the hot air moves. A simple fan pushes air straight down, which browns the top of the food nicely and leaves the sides and underside sitting in slow-moving air — so you get one crisp face, one soft one, and a lot of opening the drawer to turn things over. Philips solves this with the starfish-shaped deflector sitting between the heating element and the basket: it turns that downward blast outward into a genuine 360° swirl that surrounds the food from every side at once. Wings crisp on the underside. Fries crisp on all four faces. Paneer tikka takes an even char across the whole cube.
