Almost every soundbar in this class ships with a single subwoofer. The TAB4304/94 ships with two. That is what the second "2" in 2.2 channel means — a matched pair of 5.25-inch wired subwoofers rather than one box doing all the low-frequency work. In a Delhi flat that matters more than the number suggests: two smaller subs spread the bass across the room instead of loading it into one corner, so the dialogue in a film stays clear on the sofa and the thump doesn't turn into a boom against the shared wall. Place them either side of the TV unit, and you get weight behind the picture at volumes that keep the neighbours friendly.
2.2-channel architecture — four full-range drivers plus twin bass
Philips builds this bar around two full-range drivers per channel — two for left, two for right — with the twin subwoofers handling everything underneath. Doubling the full-range drivers on each side spreads the midrange across a wider area, which is where voices, instruments and game effects live. The result is a stereo image that fills a living room rather than beaming straight out of a single point, and dialogue that holds its place when the soundtrack gets busy. Rated up to 250 W maximum output power, it has the headroom to fill a large drawing room without being pushed to its limit.
Metal mesh build with integrated wall brackets
The bar is finished in metal mesh — a grille that takes a decade of Delhi dust and a weekly wipe far better than fabric, which traps particulate and discolours through a winter of poor AQI. Wall brackets are integrated into the bar itself, so mounting it under a wall-hung TV needs no separate accessory hunt. Prefer it on the TV table or a console shelf? It sits flat on any surface just as happily. In a compact flat where the TV unit is already crowded, taking the bar onto the wall frees the shelf entirely.
