Adjustable height and a built-in board — set up in a Delhi flat, not a laundry room
The pole adjusts from 1.0 to 1.5 metres, so a tall kurta hangs clear of the floor and a short shirt sits at a height you can work at without stooping. The built-in ironing board converts between vertical and flat: keep it upright to back a hanging garment while you steam, or drop it flat for collars, cuffs and pleats that need a firm surface behind them. Smooth-glide wheels mean the whole unit rolls from the bedroom to the drawing room and back into a corner or behind a door when you're done — which is what makes it workable in a compact flat where a permanent ironing setup was never an option.
