Most “surround” setups in a Delhi flat are two speakers and a promise. This one is the real arrangement: 11 front and surround channels including dedicated rear speakers, 1 subwoofer channel, and 4 up-firing channels that bounce sound off your ceiling so helicopters, rain and footsteps actually come from above. Wireless Dolby Atmos — cut the cords, not the quality
Atmos usually means a thick HDMI cable running across your living room wall. The HW-Q990H sends full cinematic, multi-dimensional Dolby Atmos audio to your Samsung TV over Wi-Fi — a first in wireless sound technology — so the height and object-based effects survive the trip without a single cable crossing the room. Pairing takes a few steps over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and audio and video stay locked in sync. For a rented flat, a marble wall you are not allowed to drill, or a TV unit already crowded with a set-top box and a console, that one detail decides whether a home theatre gets installed properly or gets lived with badly. HDMI eARC and Optical In are there too when you prefer to wire it.
Bass that works at 11 PM in a shared-wall flat
The new subwoofer is compact enough to blend into a flat that has no dedicated theatre room, and it adds AI-based nonlinear control that minimises distortion so the bass stays true to the original recording instead of turning into a boom that the neighbours inherit. When you want to go further, Moderate Bass keeps rich low-end coming from the main soundbar even with the subwoofer muted — a late-night thriller at low volume still has weight, and nobody in the next bedroom or the flat below has to hear it. Private Rear Sound goes one step quieter still: play only the rear speakers, drop the volume, and watch without disturbing a sleeping child.
