Built into it are 3 rollers and 2 side boards with a series of ridges, which give a scrubbing action against the fabric while staying gentler than a hard beating. Add the Magic Mixer option — fill water, add detergent, turn the knob, and the same pulsator dissolves the detergent completely before the wash begins — and you stop finding white powder streaks on dark kurtas.
