Most air purifiers in Delhi homes are bought for one bedroom and then quietly asked to do the whole floor. This one is rated for 930 sq ft — a full drawing room with the dining area attached, a 2BHK living space, a clinic waiting room, a conference room. Plasmacluster Ion Technology — Sharp's active layer that works out in the room

Plasmacluster works the other way round: the unit generates positive hydrogen ions (H⁺) and negative oxygen ions (O₂⁻) and releases them into the room, where they travel outward on their own. On contact with an airborne microbe those ions combine on its surface to form highly reactive OH radicals, which strip hydrogen from the proteins in the microbe's cell membrane and break down its structure — deactivating viruses, bacteria and mould spores in the room air itself, not only on the filter. Across 930 sq ft that means the purifier standing in one corner is still treating air at the other end of the room. Passive H14 capture inside the unit, active ion deactivation throughout the space: dual-action, and it is the reason a Sharp does not behave like every other purifier on the shelf.
H14 True HEPA — the grade Delhi's winter actually calls for
HEPA media is graded by how much it captures at 0.3 microns, the particle size that is hardest for any fibrous filter to trap. H14 sits a full tier above the common H13 standard — it is the filtration class specified for hospital operating theatres, pharmaceutical clean rooms and semiconductor fabrication plants, environments where near-total particle removal is a functional requirement rather than a marketing line. That matters here because Delhi NCR's worst pollutants are the smallest ones: ultrafine combustion particles from vehicle exhaust and industrial emissions sit in the 0.01–0.1 micron range, well below the size most filters are comfortable with, and they are the fraction that travels deepest into the lungs.
