80 litres gross volume of chilled water in store, with 40 litres cooled every hour behind it. The stainless steel reservoir holds a deep buffer of already-chilled water while the refrigeration keeps replenishing it, which is what lets this floor-standing Voltas dispense up to 200 glasses an hour and serve approximately 80–100 people. Water leaves the taps at 10°C–25°C.
Hermetically sealed reciprocating compressor with fin & tube condenser
The refrigeration system is built around a hermetically sealed reciprocating compressor — a sealed refrigerant circuit — paired with a fin and tube condenser. Around the tank sits 35 mm of in-situ PUF insulation, foamed in place so it fills the cavity rather than being cut and fitted, which is what holds the cold between draws. Water is delivered at 10°C–25°C.
SS 304 stainless steel where the water touches
The tank, the faucets and the drip trough are all SS 304 food grade stainless steel, and the outer body is stainless steel as well — a fully stainless steel water cooler. The floor-standing cabinet measures 461 × 621 × 1311 mm (W×D×H), so it carries 80 litres gross volume in a body 461 mm wide.

The cooling capacity is 40 litres per hour, so the tank is being replenished with chilled water while people are still drawing from it.
Two taps let two people fill at the same time, which keeps the queue moving in a high-footfall building.
Foamed in place to 35 mm around the tank rather than cut to fit, the PUF layer holds the chilled water cold between draws.
